Scope and Contents:
  • IFRC Emergency Appeal MDRSY003 requests donations of cash and in-kind for the Federation to support the Syrian Arab Red Crescent National Society assist people affected by civil unrest and violence in Syria by:  providing food and non-food relief items; supporting existing and establishing additional National Society mobile health units, health points, and primary health care clinics; sustaining the ambulance services; providing psychosocial support; supporting families with livelihood projects; providing basic shelter support to both host families and displaced families; and rehabilitating / installing water and sanitation facilities.  The National Society will also enhance its operational and institutional capacities and the protection of its volunteers.
