Our collections contain a range of current and historical materials, in analog and digital formats.

The IFRC Library 

Holds a collection of published information, including books and other publications, and maintains a copy of all materials produced by the IFRC.          

Major topics covered include: Disasters, Climates & Crisis, Health & Care, National Society Development, Inclusion, Protection & Engagement.​​​​​​        

The IFRC Archives 

Contains records created or received by the Secretariat of the IFRC.*         

Major topics covered include: IFRC Governance, Relief Operations & Programmes, Health, Nurses & Nursing Education, Blood Donations/Transfusions, Youth Red Cross, Centenary of the Red Cross (1963).

The IFRC audio-visual archives include analogue and digital photographs, films, videos, and sound recordings produced by the IFRC and by National Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies. 

Major topics covered include: Relief Operations & Programmes, Health, Blood Donations / Transfusions, Youth Red Cross, and the activities of National Societies.
